Updated AGM 20 November 2025
1. Lake Resources Company Brief
Lake Resources NL is a clean-lithium developer focused on producing high-purity lithium carbonate from brine using Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology supplied by Lilac Solutions.
The flagship Kachi Project (Catamarca, Argentina) holds one of the largest lithium brine resources in the world, totalling 11.1 Mt LCE
Lake owns 80% of Kachi; Lilac Solutions may earn 20% upon completion of technology validation
The project is designed to deliver 25,000 tpa battery-grade lithium carbonate in Phase 1, with a future option to double to 50,000 tpa
LKE positions itself as a future low-carbon, low-cost lithium producer as global EV and stationary battery demand accelerates.

Kachi Project
The whole idea of Kachi production is to replace 20-30km2 of Evaporation Ponds by using a different technology than most of lithium producers, Lilac Ion Exchange to produce high purity lithium carbonate. The production uses only one building with Ion Exchange Modules that is highly scalable and much faster to built it has been proven in pilot plan to be effective.
The advantages using Lilac Ion Exchange for Lithium extraction are:
- Displaces evaporation process
- Faster process and faster to market
- High recovery
- Sustainable with lower water and land impact compared to other processes.

- Cost competitive and mostly important, Scalable.

2. Lake Resources Current Operational Situation

LKE spent FY2025–26 derisking Kachi through several Operational Achievements:
✅ Updated Mineral Resource to 11.1 Mt LCE, including 8.2 Mt M&I, improving grade & confidence.
✅ Updated Ore Reserve to 626,760 t LCE over 25 years.
✅ Completion of FEED for power grid connection (major de-risking milestone).
✅ DFS Addendum delivered material reductions in Capex & Opex.
✅ Extensive environmental review for the Exploitation EIA nearing completion.
✅ Site reclamation strengthening ESG & community positioning.
3. Lake Resources Project Pipeline & Development.
Kachi (Flagship) — Phase 1
✅ Stage: DFS Addendum completed (August 2025)
- Design Basis: 25,000 tpa
- Brine Concentration: 268 mg/L
- Recovery (Lilac Gen4): ~90%, Gen5 projected: 95%+
- Capex: US$1.16B (↓16%)
- Opex: US$5,895/t LCE (world-class)

| Milestone | Estimated Timing |
|---|---|
| EIA Approval (Exploitation Environmental Impact Assessment Approval) | 2026 |
| FID (Final Investment Decision) | 2026 (post-EIA) |
| Construction | 2026–2028 |
| Ramp-Up Completion | Late 2029 / early 2030 |
| Full 25,000 tpa Production | 2030 |
4. Lake Resources Production Forecast & Economics
Using DFS Addendum numbers:
Economics (Pre-Tax)
- NPV10: US$1.47B
- IRR: 22.5%
- Opex: US$5,895/t
- Price assumption: US$20,500/t
Lilac Gen5 enhancements introduced in October 2025 could cut Capex/Opex even further, with better media productivity, durability, and water efficiency. LKE ASX 30 OCt Lilac.
5. Cash Position & Balance Sheet Strength (FY26 Q1)
From Appendix 5B (30 Sept 2025):
- Cash at bank: $18.0M
- Quarterly burn:
- Operating: –$5.36M
- Investing (Exploration): –$1.04M
- Total burn: –$6.40M
- Capital raised: $13.34M (placement)
- ATM facility available: $1.27M
- Additional theoretical placement capacity: ~$14.7M (subject to market conditions)
The sale of non-core assets previously added $13.6M non-dilutive liquidity.
✅ LKE has enough cash for ~2.5–3 quarters before requiring more funding, unless spend is further reduced.

6. Probability of Capital Raise Within 12 Months
Given that DFS Completed, EIA pending, FID preparation requires engineering, contract, partner engagement, cash runway ~3 quarters, no short-term revenue. LKE will almost certainly require another raise in 2026, unless:
- A strategic partner comes in
- A JV is executed
- Offtake prepayments occur
Most likely raise window: Q2–Q3 CY2026.

7. Lithium Demand Outlook
Q3 2025 witnessed extraordinary volatility driven by a strong news cycle and broad-based forward curve price revisions above current spot price.

7. Technical Analysis (Daily & Weekly)

This structure shows that LKE is transitioning from a deep accumulation base into a new momentum cycle, but still nowhere near a long-term confirmed trend reversal.
Weekly Support & Resistance
- Major support: 0.035 – 0.045 (base range, broken with strong volume).
- First resistance: 0.085 – 0.095 (current level; wick rejection possible).
- Major resistance: 0.150 – 0.160 (previous swing shelf).
- Long-term resistance: 0.430 (SMA250 pink).
Weekly RSI
- RSI ~ 87% → extremely strong momentum.
- High RSI on a breakout from a multi-month base is bullish, not a reversal signal, but still indicates the stock may pause or consolidate.
Weekly Probability Outlook
- Continuation higher (toward 0.095–0.12): ~65%
- Pullback to retest breakout zone (0.055–0.065): ~25%
- Breakdown back into the base (~0.04): ~10%

Daily Moving Averages
- EMA9 (yellow): price riding strongly above → powerful short-term trend.
- SMA40 (red): turning up and well below → supportive mid-term trend.
- SMA250 (pink): flattening, now being tested from above → long-term trend beginning to shift.
Daily MAs show a classic early-stage BGS20 momentum alignment: Price > EMA9 > SMA40 > SMA250
→ high-probability continuation pattern.
Daily Support & Resistance
- Immediate support: 0.065–0.070 (EMA9 catch zone).
- Stronger support: 0.050–0.055 (SMA40 cluster).
- Short-term resistance: 0.085–0.090.
- Next momentum target if breakout holds: 0.105–0.110.
Daily RSI
- RSI ~ 64%
- This is healthy: momentum still strong, not overbought yet.
- No bearish divergences detected.
